We cover the entire capital structure ‎(senior loans, whole loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and equity capital) for a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition financing, refinancing, restructuring/recapitalization and equity cash-out situations. Laurus Property Partners sources capital via its extensive network of more than 150 lenders and investors (banks, insurance companies, pension funds, debt funds, mezzanine funds, investment banks, mortgage REITs, family offices, hedge funds and private equity funds). During my time at the company, my main responsibilities have been:Writing a master thesis with the topic "The Commercial Real Estate Lending Market in Germany - Identification of Shortcomings in Capital Supply and how to Overcome Them" in collaboration with EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. As well as:• Cashflow modelling of incoming transactions • Support in the due-diligence process • Acquisition of new clients by cold calls• Collection of lending-criteria, setting up a database• Placement of financing inquiries • Identification of suitable capital providers• Preparation of transaction documents

•Support in the acquisition of new projects in the Frankfurt/Rhein-Main area•Quick-check of incoming offers (location, possible concepts, recommendations for further steps)•Support with the due diligence during the purchasing process (evaluation of the architecture competition, quotes from brokers, support with the project management, developing a project idea and handbook for internal purposes)•Site visits in Frankfurt for the identification of possible projects •Development of company presentations•Communication with brokers and other involved parties
