I've done a lot of work leading backend, distributed systems teams, but have led data teams and front end teams as well.As an engineer I've worked on a lot of different things: C, C++, Android, AOSP, embedded stuff, kernel code, Java, Javascript, server side stuff, client side stuff, web development, Hadoop-y stuff, , functional languages, Python, PHP, MySQL, Postgres and the other Usual Suspects. I speak fluent Italian and conversational Spanish. At one point, I could almost read Mayan Glyphs.
