Nordic Marketing Manager For Bethesda Softworks Via Social Industries
Nordic Marketing Manager
As Nordic Marketing Manager, I'm responsible for the marketing of all Bethesda game titles in the Nordic Region. An important part of this role is to establish relationships with brands, endemic media, and event organizers for partnerships. I oversee influencer agency campaigns in the region, and collaborate with local retailers and partners for activations. During my day-to-day, I brief media agencies with relevant territory insights and data, and I collaborate closely with the PR Agency and community managers to align marketing activities. Reporting on campaigns, our games as a service titles and evaluation of performance according to budgets in the Nordic region is also crucial. Internally, I work with our sales teams to increase sales in the region and it's in my interest to observe business trends and competitor activity. I have regular contact with our local first-party teams as well as with the European HQ teams. My knack for coordination has been key!
Marketing Manager
Working as Marketing Manager, my main areas of responsibility include planning, evolving and executing effective marketing campaigns and deploying refined brand strategies. I’m responsible for the budget and the team of the marketing department at Thunderful Publishing AB. My mission as head of marketing is to leverage my team to maximize the exposure and sales of our titles by improving communications and developing marketing strategies for all markets. As Marketing Manager, I have built and expanded the team, optimized processes, introduced new tools and signed strategic partnerships as a means to take Thunderful Publishing AB to the next level. To further hone my skills as a successful team manager, I enlisted to and finished the highly regarded IHM Business School course Utvecklande Ledarskap ULL 360.
Event & Influencer Manager
Believing that every encounter is a possibility to learn something new and exchange experiences, I’ve got an eye for building relations and maintaining connections that may become important business partners for our company later down the line. A prioritized part of my work is to network and form genuine and trustworthy relations with both prominent influencers and media in the gaming industry to later negotiate content creation and contracts. As Event & Influencer Manager, I am used to, within budget, setting up everything from streaming events, previews, to tournaments and Christmas dinners. One of my favorites were managing Thunderful Publishings first Press Event which, according to the appreciative words I received afterward from the attendees, was a great success. Among the invitees were beside important European game media that I had researched, our own team and partnering developers. I thrive on going the extra mile and surprised our international guests with Swedish fika and locally brewed beer. Management was very content with the outcome and ROI based on attendance and content created vs. the cost of the event and we are planning to make it a yearly, recurring event.Thunderful Publishing, Image & Form and Zoink are sister companies located in the same offices. Unofficially I transferred summer 2018, and my role shifted to working with PR and marketing for multiple game developer studios instead of one. I'm part of a small and growing team that evaluates and look into what games to publish moving forward, and we work with multi-platform releases on a global market, our marketing efforts done closely connected to our external PR agencies in Asia.I’ve coordinated and attended several international business conventions - e.g. EGX Rezzed, E3, Gamescom, PAX West, EGX Berlin, Dreamhack, PAX East, TwitchCon Berlin, and ID@Xbox - done booth building from scratch and been representing our in-house studios as well as our partners.I love this business.
Influencer Relations Manager
My primary job is to build and maintain relations with influencers in the gaming industry. I do this by attending major tradeshows, arranging meetings and local events. As part of a growing marketing team, I'm also trusted to be the POC for digital tools that are new to my company, and we use for growth such as MailChimp and Keymailer. I communicate with the company's media, PR and influencers contacts on a daily basis. My assignment also includes publishing tasks as well as game testing and QA of our products.
Managing Director
Self-employed, I started a sole proprietorship based on my gaming nickname. I decided to market my alter ego MsGamerSE on all social platforms and gaming networks, including Discord, Twitter, YouTube and by blogging and posting game-related content. This has strengthened my abilities to think wide and nurture my connections with others and greatly enhanced my knowledge of the CMS WordPress and expanded my network on the industry.
Marketing Coordinator
As part of Tobii's goals in the startup framework - "Make gamers love us" – I was a hub for influencers. In effect, using agile methods I coordinated everything from sourcing brand new relations, tracking KPI’s and negotiated contracts & NDA's - making sure content was produced online (e.g. on Youtube & Twitch) by independent contractors to drive sales, usage, page visits, and conversion rates. I worked tightly with Tobii's support, logistics and finance teams. I love attending trade shows such as Gamescom, and partnership events like MSI FanDay and Inet Techdays where I've presented and demoed Tobii's eye-tracking product. My forte is networking - and by helping influencers, media, developers and OEM's understand the technology I've helped grow the ecosystem. Managing social media for TobiiEyeX means I'm keeping à jour with the gaming industry and supporting customers as well as planning posts and news according to press releases and partner announcements - including the occasional picture, video, text, and gif editing!***********************************************************Tobii Technology is the global leader in eye tracking and has accelerated the development of eye tracking in personal computing, transformed research in many fields and enabled communication for thousands of people with special needs. The company develops and delivers comprehensive eye-tracking solutions as well as OEM eye-tracking components for applications such as computers, gaming, and vehicles.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMoJ5T76AtE
