My life has been a series of incredible journeys and my obsession to learn has earned me a wealth of knowledge that continues to grow today.Dead Tour in 1994 prepared me for life in beautifully unimaginable ways and taught me lessons that I would have never learned otherwise. Then came the Motorcycle Industry and Guerrilla Photojournalism. This appealed to the war correspondent in me and kept me in the trenches for 5 years. I still love being immersed in a culture or a movement and documenting the news as it unfolds before me.There is an intensity that accompanies surviving on the road that becomes addictive. Constantly testing your strength of will and your ability to adapt, perform and succeed makes life vibrant and exciting. Your location at twilight is usually different from where dawn occurred. You come to understand the true definition of thirst and hunger, and how to regulate your body's processes for maximum efficiency. Faith, Hope and Love become lifelines and mantras. You learn that hard work and exhaustion equal a deep and restful sleep. You learn how to keep going, to test your strength of will, to adapt, perform and succeed...and so I did.From doing hair wraps and selling veggie burritos on Shakedown Street to Vice President of a chemical manufacturing company, coffee shop barista to stone mason or rambutan farmer on Kauai to motorcycle photojournalist, I have run the gamut and loved every experience.I believe all this life experience has prepared me for a career that highlights my talents while allowing me to continue to grow. My foray into the audio industry has become that career and a true blessing in my life. I am honored to represent such incredible products and the collective ingenuity that is Alcons Audio. I am grateful for all that I have been through in the 49 years that I have been on this Earth. These experiences have made me who I am today and allow me to appreciate the complexity that is Life!
