With a focus on global innovation, worked closely with the Wells Fargo Technology Banking team to help serve early stage technology companies and venture capitalist who were current or future customers of the bank. Met customers/startups introduced by venture / investor partners and provided advisory to those startups while helping to connect them to technology teams within the bank. Helped to identify and connect new deal flow with VC's and identified new tech customers for the bank. Covered areas related to tech, media, security, IoT, and machine learning. Connected Wells Fargo employees with innovative CEO/Founders to help move Wells Fargo and Startups forward faster together.

Created and managed Wholesale Labs, a global incubator and accelerator for technology that successfully promoted a culture of innovation for Wells Fargo. Jacob recruited and managed a global team and portfolio of over 250 lab projects annually that contributed to new revenue, improved operational efficiency, delivered new business capabilities, improved time to market, and helped teams to deliver break though innovations. In this role he also supported corporate tech bankers, investment bankers, tech industry entrepreneurs, VC partners through advisory and mentoring roles. While growing the incubator / accelerator. While building the lab he also envisioned and lead the design and development of an Architecture Library that socially organized application design artifacts to manage risk and improve the sharing of information across teams.

RAINN is a top US non-profit organization which was started by Tori Amos and Scott Berkowitz as a 1-800 number to route callers to rape crisis centers throughout the US. Penelope & Jacob co-created the RAINN Online Hotline with RAINN to provide self-help to survivors of abuse. In this role he helped to set the initial vision / strategy / design, and was part of the team which formed the initial partnerships and funding. As a result of the success, the DOD created a dedicated environment for the military now hosted at https://safehelpline.org.

Represented Wachovia as part of the technology advisory council. Led a team to create two technology labs and upgraded their technology to support the Urban League mission.

Electronic Bond Trading software company. Part of team assembled to create an XML megaservice for eletronic markup and rebrokering of bonds. Assigned to team as lead of platform design and architecture. Responsible for the vendor / product selection, engineering, and implementation. Logistics coordination of all vendors, consultants, and operations staff. Implemented the X-OS platform using Compaq, EMC, Intel, and Cisco products in the Exodus Communications data center.

Intracom was bootstrapped by a contract with Broadband Office in Washington, DC to provide consulting services as they built online services in support of BLEC's for commercial real estate investors. Created and managed the application services team. The primary objective was to provide consulting expertise for DC based Broadband Office, enabling Internet and hosted application services for commercial real estate buildings nationally. My team provided infrastructure and design expertise in support of application service providers, healthcare, and similar organization. I also drove business development efforts which resulted in design / consulting revenue for the company.
