During this time I managed different infrastructure-focused teams including Core Platform, API, Fleet, Compute and Observability.

I co-designed and implemented a new API framework (APIv3) for internal adoption that offered new parallelism capabilities for product engineering teams to build data-rich user experiences and move to an API-first mindset to support web and mobile apps. I drove adoption by working with early adopter teams to ensure it fully met their requirements, creating superfans that sold other internal teams on the framework.I also designed and implemented an in-house distributed tracing system (CrossStitch) to provide developers with observably insights into how their code operated in this new, highly distributed architecture. I presented these novel infrastructure solutions at Surge 2014 conference.
