While working with Tourism Australia been the face of the Sydney IT team and helping with any IT issues that I can deal with without the need for Sydney’s intervention, Using LogMein pro to help not only London based team, but the team in Frankfurt Germany. The role also needed to visit the Frankfurt team in Germany once a month for a week to help and fix issue that could only be dealt with locally like rebuild of laptops when needed. They have Cisco ip phone network and helping the Sydney team with cisco switch setup as found one that was not being seen and Sydney needed me to setup so could telnet to it. Helping with printer/copier setup and making a detailed floor plan with network port, name and computer name so can help if the user does not know the computer name.

Helping the Dell engineers with backup of user data, and if the migration fails then I get the laptops and the old users Lenovo laptop either T410, T420’s and some T430’s With Windows 7 and the new dell laptop Latitude E7440 with windows 8.1, move the user data to the new machine. Supporting foreign users within a service desk hour rota between 7am and 6pm.
