Compton-Lyon Investments, Series LLC, has been organized and developed for the purpose of purchasing, holding, and/or selling residential and/or commercial real estate properties. The company’s main activities are to remodel, redevelop, or rehabilitate vacant and depressed properties in Canadian County, Oklahoma, making them more marketable either through sale or lease.

SCARS, Inc. is a state of the art cloud-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping our community members who are suffering from the consequences of drug or alcohol abuse, domestic violence, trauma, mental illness. We also work with those who are exhibiting antisocial behaviors, perpetrating criminal acts, or reentering society after incarceration.

I independently oversaw the implementation of numerous network applications, which directly affected every department and every LAN user within the institution. I tested and performed in-depth analysis on the reliability and compatibility of all hardware (file servers and workstations), and software involved. I was responsible for the protection of all LAN based programs and its data, which includes daily LAN file backups, user administration, and file security. I worked independently in troubleshooting LAN hardware and/or software, workstation hardware and/or software, and LAN user account issues. As Information Security Officer, I planned, developed, and implemented local information security procedures. I continually monitored how sensitive information (electronic and/or hard copy) was handled within the different departments throughout the institution. When necessary, computer forensic inspections were performed on LAN services, staff or inmate workstations.

As a department head, I was responsible for directing the activities of the computer services department. I ensured compliance with policy requirements at all levels. My managerial responsibilities included, participating in department head meetings, budget meetings, time and attendance responsibilities, various committee meetings, and other assigned working groups. Supervisory responsibilities included planning and assigning subordinates' work; evaluating subordinates' performance; advising, counseling, and instructing subordinates; taking disciplinary measures; recommending awards and promotions; assessing and meeting subordinates' training needs.

Serving as the institution's Assistant Information Security Officer, I assist in the planning, development, and implementation of local information security procedures. My duties involved a wide range of responsibilities which required expertise in the areas of sentence computation, complex legal situations, insuring the safety and security of prisoners and their legal confinement, mail management, records security and maintenance, court processes and data management. I was fully accountable for all functions of the department under my supervision.

My position as Supervisory Inmate Systems Officer involved a wide range of duties that required knowledge in the areas of Mail Room, and Receiving and Discharge operations. This position also required knowledge in postal regulations, court processes, interpretation of legal instruments, and compliance of court directives, correctional security procedures and contact with a variety of law enforcement agencies. I was directly responsible for the supervision of nine Inmate Systems Officers. I analyzed the overall performance of the Inmate Systems Officers, established goals and objectives, evaluated their effectiveness and reviewed their progress; resolved major problems; reviewed training and needs for personnel development.

My position as a Legal Instruments Examiner required me to possess expertise in the areas of sentence computation, sentencing laws, complex legal situations, court processes, interpretation of legal instruments, and compliance with court directives. As the technical expert in the area of federal sentencing and correctional law, I provided staff and inmates with responses to questions and interpretations of statutes and case law.

My specific correctional responsibilities included custody and supervision of inmates, responding to emergencies and institution disturbances, participating in fog and escape patrols, and manning correctional officer posts. I was required to perform visual and pat searches of inmates, conduct visual and physical searches of inmate work and living areas for contraband and responsible for immediately responding to any institution emergencies. I was prepared and trained to use physical control in situations where necessary, such as in fights among inmates, assaults on staff, and riots or escape attempts.
