I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants of England and Wales and a Member of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. I graduated from Durham University and began my career with PwC in the Banking and Capital Markets division. I co-founded Aer Ventures, a business accelerator for entrepreneurs focused on making a meaningful positive impact on the resource and environmental challenges facing the world. Earlier in my career, I co-founded HD Capital that was a Member Firm of the London Stock Exchange where I acted as the lead corporate finance adviser on flotations, M&A transactions as well as numerous primary and secondary fundraisings. Before that, I was instrumental in growing the corporate finance business of stockbrokers WH Ireland Limited in London. When at PwC, I was seconded to the listing department of the London Stock Exchange and also worked at Sigma Capital plc, a venture capital investment firm, where I advised on investment into emerging growth companies.
