In 2009, after a 25-year career in IT Operations and Support, I took advantage of a layoff and severance package to reengineer myself as a Geospatial Analyst. Since then, I have built an impressive skillset in Geospatial Technologies, Geostatistical Analytics, and Remote Sensing, and enhanced those skills with additional education in Business Analysis and Agile Methodology, as well as cerification as an Agile Product Owner. I truly love what I do, with a passion for GIS that goes back to my very first job, as an Airborne Sensor Specialist and Imagery Analyst in the military. I love the intellectual curiosity, imaginative thinking, and lifelong learning demanded by this rapidly expanding field. Most of all, I love matching creative geospatial solutions with critical business requirements, to my customer’s amazement and delight.Geospatial Technology rocks!
