He planned and oversaw expansion of the operation to a full-service resort complex, including development of the Alpine Spa, J.J. Hills Fresh Grill Restaurant, and Icicle Village Resort Condominiums. The resort is now managed by Columbia Hospitality.

Paul retired from the firm in March 2005 to focus his efforts on his hotel investment activities.
