Ellensburg, Wa

Paul is one member of a talented group of partners who are developed the first new hotel in downtown Ellensburg in well over one hundred years. Hotel Windrow opened in January 2020 as the finest hotel in lower Kittitas County. The combining of the adjacent historic renovated Elks Lodge building and the finest in modern lodging and event facilities features a 35-foot atrium lobby, the centerpiece of which is Basalt, a fine dining restaurant and craft cocktail bar nestled beneath the “Grand Staircase.” The hotel has 59 guestrooms and suites, an assortment of flexible meeting space, as well as the nearly century old and lovingly restored Elks Ballroom.

Leavenworth, Wa

This resort complex includes a 121-room hotel, 42 condominium units of which 34 are in a rental program with the hotel, J.J. Hills Fresh Grill Restaurant, Snow Lakes Activities Center, Alpine Spa, and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space.Paul formerly served as the managing partner and property or asset manager for the resort since the opening of a limited service, 65-room Best Western hotel in 1992. He planned and oversaw expansion of the operation to a full-service resort complex, including development of the Alpine Spa, J.J. Hills Fresh Grill Restaurant, and Icicle Village Resort Condominiums. The resort is now managed by Columbia Hospitality.

Paul founded JKM in July 1988 and helped grow the firm to the largest hospitality investment advisory firm in the northwest. The firm had a fine reputation for high quality work and provided a wide range of advisory services to hotel owners, lenders, national hotel chains, attorneys, and others with a vested interest in the hospitality industry. Paul retired from the firm in March 2005 to focus his efforts on his hotel investment activities.

Paul joined this international certified public accounting and management consulting firm in April 1978 and became the second youngest partner in the firm’s history in May 1985. He served as partner-in-charge of the firm’s northwest hospitality consulting and appraisal practice. He left the firm in June 1988 to form Jinneman and Associates, the predecessor firm to Jinneman, Kennedy, & Mohn, P.S.
