Welcome to my Linked In Page!I am Director for Johnson Partners Ltd, a Freight Forwarding business specialising in Project Cargo. Since February 2024, Johnson Partners joined the Casper Group to increase our capacity to manage larger-scale projects.I have an MBA, from studying at Teesside University and am also a Chartered Manager through CMI.At Johnson Partners, I am involved in growing the company developing new business and new markets. I also operate larger projects, which usually involves large, abnormal load movements and out-of-gauge cargo shipped internationally on services such as breakbulk, flat racks and roro vessels.My degree is in Popular Music Studies, and I am a qualified teacher. Whilst this isn't directly related to the business of freight forwarding, organisation, interpersonal skills and working under pressure are amongst those I have developed.My strengths based on creativity and vision. I can usually make good judgements to ensure that the business stays healthy and follow a positive direction. My communication skills are a strength and I have extensive experience in formulating strategies and executing them. I have spent time in all roles required to run a small business and this has made me proficient in marketing, sales, operations, credit control and management.Having been interested in computers for many years I enjoy coding and programming. I have created applications utilising Node.js, React.js, HTML, Pug, JavaScript and more.I also co-run a house record label, Sidetrak Records and create music! I play a couple of instruments and was in a few bands back in the day! Most notably, Vacuum and Elba were the bands I played most gigs with across the UK.
