The simulator consisted of an interactive Java C based user interface, message driven network element processes written in C++, and scenario interfaces (mass capacity / performance / stability), broadband & narrowband SS7, SS7/IP (M3UA/SCTP), and UDP simulated interfaces operating in a Unix environment. The simulator was successfully used worldwide for Lucent’s UMTS core network test, field deployment, & trade shows.● Designed, wrote, and implemented SONET OC3c ATM device drivers using VxWorks on a MIPS R4700 processor, written in C/C++ languages.● Ported, integrated, and tested NetPlanes Systems UNI, ILMI, and Classical IP over ATM protocol stacks.● Gained extensive experience using VxWorks and Tornado tools for high speed real-time embedded programming, debugging, and time critical performance analysis.
