As a Chair with Vistage New Mexico, I am focused on helping leaders grow. I facilitate a group of Humble, Hungry, and Smart CEOs as they help each other make better decisions and improve results. I am especially fond of the Emerging Leaders with whom I work. These rising stars are the future of New Mexico and the world, and seeing them expand their horizons and skills is amazing. I have a deep past in startups, technology, and building cultures. My journey has taught me that transforming the mind is the most important goal we can accomplish on this earth. I am now, in my semi-retirement, dedicated to sharing what I've learned. I'm available for coaching, retreats, teaching, corporate mindfulness programs, and more, focused on Mindfulness, communication, Focusing (ask me!), and just dealing with difficult issues. As interim COO for a one-year period, I helped a company in some trouble when I started. Altela is a Verge portfolio company that manufactures water desalination equipment for the oil and gas industry. During my year, I lead the team that designed a next-generation product and the manufacturing floor, built and tested the product, installed it in a cutting-edge water treatment plant in Pennsylvania, and began treatment of highly-challenged water from the PA natural gas fields.
