• Created a company-wide DataDog monitoring solution for OppLoans AWS services, through 100% Infrastructure As Code (terraform). This included Host (CPU/mem/disk), Service (Fargate, Beanstalk, and Lambda), RDS, as well as Synthetics and APM monitoring, through a combination of built-in and custom DataDog metrics• Set up PagerDuty integrations from DataDog alerts, as well as a "one-stop-shopping" DataDog Health Dashboard for Opploans AWS services (100% Terraform) to be consumed by software engineers and business associates.• Created a greenfield CI/CD pipeline (tooling and software) to deploy both infrastructure code (Terraform) as well as code payloads (Lambda, rails apps, etc.), using AWS ECS, configuring Jenkins Docker containers for out-of-the-box setup (multi-account workers, and pre-configured plugin setup). Primarily using the Jenkins Pipeline plugin for "Pipeline as Code" git-backed test/build/deploy pipelines.

A Lead Platform/DevOps role, writing tools and creating systems and processes to enable the Enova Software Engineering Department (approx. 120+ developers) to move software more seamlessly and efficiently into production.• Created and currently manage Enova’s build/test/deployment pipeline, that is used by approx. 120 software developer, using Github Enterprise, Travis CI Enterprise, Sinatra, Ruby, Jenkins and AWS.• Brought time from Software Development handoff (to our team) to production launch, from an average of 6-8 weeks, to 2-3 weeks. Accomplished by self-service automation tools (including automation of Jira tickets and Pivotal task creation), establishing new processes for the Software Engineering department (internally, and with external teams), and training of SE teams.• Tech Lead on all configuration, build and deployment aspects of EnovaDecisions, an analytics-based scoring and decisioning platform. Built in AWS (US and China AWS regions) using Ruby, packer, berkshelf, test-kitchen, rspec, Jenkins and serverspec.• Created and currently manage a locally-hosted, department-wide Travis CI Enterprise cluster in AWS. Built the mechanism to handle Travis CI to Jenkins handoff to start the build and deploy process. Automated builds, testing and deployments of all customized workers in AWS, using a combination of Sinatra packer, chef, berkshelf, Jenkins, test-kitchen and serverspec. Reduced dev wait time on (automatically-run) tests jobs by a factor of 4-5 by allowing easy parallelization of jobs, via both configuration and worker scaling.• Led development team (4-5 devs, UI) to build and launch an Enova online lending product in Brazil. Mentored 2 new developers, led the technical design for all new parts the Simplic infrastructure, and added several bank-related gems (to retrieve loan quotes). Written in Ruby on Rails and Postgres.

Member of the original core development team that successfully launched the orbitz.com website in June 2001.• Member of the core development team responsible for Orbitz Supplier Link technology, allowing the site to bypass GDS (travel booking) hosts and link directly to airline host partitions for air bookings. This software performed tens of thousands of booking, ticketing, and notification transactions per day (24x7). Led small teams (2-3 devs) to launch Supplier link projects for American, Continental, Delta, U.S. Air, United, America West, and others.• Led development team (2-3 devs) for Integration with third party ticketing and agent notification systems and successfully launched for American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta, and Alaska Airlines. Daily ticketing totals processed by this software averaged 30,000 - 40,000 tickets daily.• Led the development team (2-3 devs) that successfully launched Orbitz-based corporate portals for United and American Airlines, based on the successful Orbitz For Business product.
