During my time at Green Dragon Extracts my duties included:• Operating a variety of laboratory equipment and machinery. This included an Apeks Supercritical CO2 Extractor, multiple rotovaps, vacuum ovens, vacuum pumps, and chilling systems.• Composing, updating, and following SOPs for product extraction, purification, and proper quality control.• Maintaining detailed logs on production, yields, and daily operations. • Troubleshooting any unexpected problems including unplanned machine maintenance and supply chain issues.• Researching and developing a new product line and department.

I started at 5280 Signpros as a part time Production Assistant and was quickly promoted to Production Manager. I maintained my previous responsibilities as well as taking on the following:• Independently operating the production line.• Communicating with customers and manipulating art files in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to meet customer needs.• Opening and closing shop / keyholder duties.• Overseeing and managing projects to meet multiple deadlines.

During my time as Production Assistant my duties included:• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of large format printers, laminators, plotters, table routers, and power tools.• Maintaining a clean production environment.• Creating a new organizational system for the production shop to create a dust free zone for optimized workflow.• Working as a team to produce advertising materials in a timely manner.• Assisting with the instillation of advertising media.

I taught 2 semesters of Organic Chemistry lab during my junior year of college. My duties included:• Independently running weekly recitation and lab meetings where students learned about different chemistry concepts and techniques, and performed experiments pertaining to their weekly lessons. • Operating a variety of analytical instruments including 1H-NMR, FT-IR, and a polarimeter to process students' experiment samples and train them on how to analyze the corresponding data.• Maintaining a clean and safe lab, ensuring proper handling and storage of hazardous chemicals, proper waste disposal, ensuring everyone is wearing proper protective equipment (PPE), and tending to any unexpected situations that arise. • Collaborating with fellow TAs to audit recitation materials, quizzes, and procedures to ensure high quality standards.
