I am currently a licensed architect with NAVFAC Atlantic in Norfolk, VA. I previously had eight years of experience in the private sector with Tymoff + Moss Architects. I graduated from The Ohio State University's Knowlton School of Architecture with a Master of Architecture Degree in June 2012. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at University of Virginia in 2009. After graduating from Virginia, I worked with Train and Partners Architects in Charlottesville, VA for a year and have become accustomed to working extensively with construction documents and physical model building. I worked part-time during graduate school with Reagan Purcell Architects in Columbus, Ohio from September 2011-December 2011. I primarily assisted in creating three-dimensional models for design development and presentation drawings. For the first two summers after high school, I worked with the residential design firm, Shade Drafting. This has increased my knowledge of the drafting workplace. In January of 2007 I participated in an Externship with Bond Comet Westmoreland and Hiner Architects(BCWH) where I shadowed an architect for a week. That summer I worked as an intern at Cornerstone Architects. In the summer of 2008 I worked as an intern at BCWH Architects in Richmond. During that period I had the opportunity to begin and complete a physical model project for a client, working with them as the job progressed. I currently work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant teaching Arch 626/7/8, Introduction to Building Construction. In my fourth year of my undergraduate education, I worked as a teaching assistant for ARCH 541: CAD 3d Modeling and Visualization. These jobs have provided vital teaching experience while also reinforcing my computer modeling and building construction knowledge.
