Nicknamed “The Tax Guru” by clients and peers, I am an expert in the U.S. and Canadian tax issues affecting private companies and their owners, and can explain these issues in a clear and concise manner. My approach puts my clients at ease, as they are confident in the knowledge that they are being properly taken care of.I specialize in both domestic and cross-border tax and have experience across a range of industries including non-profits and charities.I am also a fully qualified and experienced Trust and Estate Practitioner and have been a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2010. I was a member of the board of the Toronto branch of STEP for several years.Prior to joining S+C Partners, I spent 14 years with Deloitte where I was an Associate Partner – Tax, and tutored the CPA Canada Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business course from 2005 to 2008.I am the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Mississauga, as well as Cross of Life Lutheran Church, and Liebenzell Mission of Canada. Between work and charitable activities, I like to spend time on the golf course, or relaxing with family.
