• Direct, supervise and coordinate all Premier Pain Management (PPM) business operations and compliance activities relative to HIPAA, OSHA, STARK, Medicare, the laws of the State of Michigan and professional codes of ethics.• Responsible for drafting Notice of Information/Privacy Practices; supervising employees responsible for securing and recording patient's acknowledgement; responding to requests for correction/amendment of health records; evaluating requests for additional protection for, or confidential communications of, particularly sensitive health information; providing information to patients/staff who have questions about HIPAA or state privacy protections; and handling any complaints from patients/staff about possible HIPAA violations.• Directly responsible for staffing, payroll, budgeting, fiscal planning, IT services, equipment procurement, maintenance, and facility development.• Draft and review employment contracts, employee handbooks, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, etc. Directly responsible for formulating and revising corporate policies consistent with state and federal regulations.• Oversees negotiation of business contracts, service contracts, insurance contracts, real estate leases, and capital financing.

Researched and prepared appellate briefs, drafted motions, complaints and answers on contract basis for Detroit area attorneys. I provided legal research and analysis; prepared memoranda on criminal, personal injury, insurance defense, immigration, employment, real estate and contract law matters. Experienced taking initial client-intake interviews, case evaluations and describing the law as it applies to the client’s suit.

• Prepared intra-office memoranda on international criminal legal issues relating to evidentiary, procedural and jurisdictional requirements for attaining victim status at the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague.• Repsonsible for interviewing members of the Darfurian diaspora regarding mental/physical/emotional harm suffered during temporal period of the ICC.• Prepared daily reports and analysis of economic/political/social/security situation in Sudan, Chad, and the Central African Republic.

• Conducted heavy phone consultation with private sector, NGOs, government agency, and media participants for 2nd Annual U.S. Arab Economic Forum. • Maintained and updated forum participant database.• Drafted press releases for event website (www.usaeforum.org).

• Assisted in manuscript editing for Professor John J. Tierney.• Attended House and Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearings and prepared briefing materials for faculty members.
