The Adelaide Advertising & Design Club (AADC) has existed since 1975 to inspire, connect & promote Adelaide's advertising & design industry. The AADC is run by an Executive Committee of industry leaders and newcomers who volunteer their time to deliver its purpose.In my Co-President role (across 2024 & 25) I am keen to ensure the AADC celebrates the.

• Sell the integrated advertising messages heard within the traffic reports and news reads on all commercial radio stations (and many TV stations) across Australia.
• Perform the dual roles of both Agency and Direct sales
• Nurture existing accounts as well as creating new clients through active business development.
• Ensure the ATN brand is marketed effectively to increase sales & awareness.
• With no Marketing Manager locally or nationally, I work extensively in marketing the ATN brand as much as possible beyond the standard networks.
• Ensure my ATN profile is strong and relevant to clients and the advertising/marketing industry.

• Launched my own freelance communications business "PgK communicates" in 1999 to incorporate writing, presenting, public relations, MC work and more.
• Created “PK Media Group” (PKMG) to now incorporates writing, MC/presenting, public relations, sales training, marketing, voice-over work, social media and more.
• Maintain a strong presence in the local industry, keeping my personal brand relevant, well connected and well marketed.
• PKMG is still in operation but not my main focus now I am fully engaged with FULLER.

• Promoted to Group Advertising Manager soon after the global publishing group Global Intertrade invested in Rip It Up Publishing.
• Managed team of 6 staff across both The Adelaide Review and Rip It Up brands with 7 separate sub-brand/magazines to market and sell.
• As there was no Marketing Manager I took on that role as well and worked with the General Manager across marketing all brands, managing budgets, holding regular revenue strategy meetings and detailed future planning.
• Conducted weekly sales training meetings & regularly motivated team.
• Held high expectations of the team to make budget and build database.
• Marketed the many brands strongly to all media to ensure relevance in market.

• Exceeded early budget targets within a short time-frame.
• Learnt media sales skills quickly and started to bring in new regular clients, building the weekly template client roster.
• Constant cold-calling and client meetings to build database.
• Worked on the creation of a new magazine and brand in The Adelaide Fix.
• Sold advertising across Rip It Up, Onion, Attitude and The Adelaide Fix magazines. Learnt to manage and juggle various ongoing deadlines.
• Developed ability to maximise clients’ advertising spend, marketing plans and continue to meet their expectations.

• Created marketing strategies for all products and brands under the Imagination umbrella and worked extensively with management on budget and planning.
• Created and maintained extensive databases and on-air promotions for E! News and Battle of the Sexes brands, boardgame, TV show and web site.
• Worked on the global release of the Battle of the Sexes brand & boardgame into the USA, New Zealand, UK and South African markets.
• Active in launch of Imagination Interactive and Imagination Publications.

• Liaised with client database for all their broadcast media needs.
• Sourced new clients via cold-calling through the use of direct sales skills.
• Worked as a publicist writing monthly PR/media newsletter, hear'say.
• Ensured the Warburton brand was front of mind within the industry, attending many networking events to build and maintain that strong brand presence.
