• Served as Court-Appointed Expert Witness for a U.S. Magistrate Judge in intellectual property action.• Served as Expert Witness in intellectual property, warranty and deceptive advertising actions involving analog, digital and microprocessor circuitry and microcomputer peripheral controllers.• Served as Expert Witness in personal injury cases involving analyzing data from QUALCOMM’s OmniTRACS system and Detroit Diesel Engine Control Units (ECUs).

• Hardware lead for Forward Link Gateway Transceiver System for Globalstar, a satellite based digital wireless personal communication system. Worked closely with systems, software, device verification and test, systems integration and test, regulatory, mechanical and manufacturing teams.• Designed and implemented Globalstar Modulator Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) to perform Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) processing using Mentor Graphics and Forte (Chronology) TimingDesigner.• Designed and implemented Globalstar User Modem ASIC Emulator Circuit Card Assembly using FGPAs, PLDs, VHDL and ABEL.• Project Engineer (phone lead) for the QSec®-800 CONDOR FNBDT Secure Terminal, a CDMA based mobile phone for high assurance, end-to-end encrypted, secure voice, data communications and net broadcast intended for government and law enforcement agencies.• Hardware lead for Digital Cinema COTS DSP-based encoder system.• Adapted QUALCOMM’s OmniTRACS system to use military GPS.

• Participated in all aspects of product design, hardware, software and firmware development, prototyping, manufacturing, testing, failure analysis and engineering management for hardcopy graphics product line.• As Site Engineering Productivity Manager duties consisted of improving engineering productivity by identifying, defining and implementing leading edge engineering tools, processes, links and training to improve product development effectiveness.• As Engineering Productivity Manager with HP Corporate Engineering managed the development and implementation of a database system to provide project development productivity metrics to enable Hewlett-Packard R&D Functional Managers to optimally manage their R&D labs.• Developed corporate wide engineering strategies and practices as a member of the Hewlett-Packard Electrical Engineering Technical Council.• Negotiated, placed and managed contract for $120 million annual purchase with international contract manufacturers.

• Developed entire curriculum and course materials as Lecturer for Computer Science and Engineering Department's Digital Hardware Laboratory which was required for all Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science majors, over 3400 students taught during tenure. Class covered practical design and implementation aspects of digital electronic circuits.

• Developed software to reduce, analyze and graphically display data from Pioneers 10 and 11 using techniques such as power spectral analysis. Co-authored paper “The Phase of the Ten-Hour Modulation in the Jovian Magnetosphere (Pioneers 10 and 11)” which was published in the Journal of Geophysical Research.
