The Senior Resident Assistant and Lead Community Assistant (SRA) at Slippery Rock University is a livein, full-time student that is directly supervised by a professional staff member of Residence Life. The SRAis responsible for developing community, developing educational and social programs, providingacademic and social support for students, assisting with facility management, and administrative tasks.The Senior Resident Assistant must be interested in working with students, participating in departmentand University functions, and be willing to assume leadership roles. The SRA must participate inmeetings when needed, trainings, and professional development. The SRA must be present andavailable during the opening and closing of the residence halls. Along with the Senior Resident Assistantposition, the individual must uphold all polices and the code of conduct of the University and act as aprofessional at all times.Duties/ Responsibilities:Administrative tasks• Responsible for understanding appropriate administrative systems such as: Symplicity, HousingDirector, facility concerns, key audits, and lockouts, etc.• Provide a timely response to all requests from students, staff, supervisors, and other Universitypersonnel for information and materials as directed.• Hand in all necessary paperwork to the Office of Residence Life on time.• Assist in the management of hall opening and closing at the beginning and end of the academicyear, and during breaks.• Assist with apartment placements and changes during specified periods, and as necessary.• Maintain appropriate records that respect student confidentiality and rights.• Participate in training for para-professional staff beginning August 7, 2023.

The Marketing Team Photographer serves as a part of the Office for Student Engagement Marketing Team, and is responsible for using photo to capture moments and enhance marketing content for the Office for Student Engagement and Leadership. Job Functions/Responsibilities: Capture and process images at various programs and events sponsored by the Office for Student Engagement and Leadership, and the various student groups that fall within the office (i.e. student organizations, SGA, UPB, Emerging Leadership Experience, Fraternity & Sorority Life) Provide content to Social Media Coordinator and Graphic Designer for marketing projects Maintain photo archive for the department Create engaging photo content to promote and encourage student involvement Collaborate with Marketing Team to create advertisements, promotions, and social media campaigns Perform other tasks as directed by the Director of Student Engagement and Leadership
