My major contributions have been:1.Significant involvement in the creation of a Strategic Partnership (with IBM) to formulate the £160m ten year contract to deliver ICT and associated change management. 2.Effective team player in contributing to the successful implementation of the many technologies, systems, applications and new ways of working during the Strategic Partnership.3.Wholly responsible for activities of BPR and Change management within the programme and initiated several innovative networks, 4.Initiated the New ways of Working programme which consisted of mobile and flexible working, Managed Print and EDMS (I led the programme up to its status as "business as usual").5.Introduced the Council to an “organisational review methodology” and led on the work for a significant period of time. This work was a key foundation to creating the Councils Change Programme,6.Key role in the formation of the Council’s change programme and supported the programme to establish Governance, a Programme Management methodology, Change techniques and ways of working.7. Business development and administration of corporate systems to deliver the Council’s business capabilities with regard to the design principles of the council’s operating model. 8 A continued and lead role in ICT in delivering new solutions to the organisation including data centre management (primary site and secondary site), disaster recovery and a refresh of major technologies (including server virtualisation and application migration).9 Effective internal relationships with Top Management, Elected Members and also the Strategic Partner. Employment of the same positive approach to external relationships via collaborative working on the Public Sector Network programme, the West Yorkshire CIO’s, the West Yorkshire Efficiency and Transformation Group and The Northern Authorities Benchmarking Group.
