Currently I am working at Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as a Civil Engineering Associate, in the role of a Resident Engineer for water related capital improvement projects. I was formerly at the City of Los Angeles, in the Building and Safety division as a Structural Associate. I am a Co-Owner at HSP Engineering, a small residential engineering and real estate investing business. HSP Engineering provides plans and engineering for any residential project from single family homes to seismic retrofits of apartments. We pride ourselves on providing a value-engineering approach from a real estate investor perspective. I'm a licensed Civil Engineer and a graduate from Cal Poly Pomona. I studied Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis in the Master's Program at Cal Poly Pomona. I'm a hardworking and goal driven engineer who is seeking to apply my skills in professional practice. While at The County of Orange, Public Works: Construction Management, I worked on large capital improvement projects such as La Pata Ave Gap Closure and large subdivisions at Rancho Mission Viejo. I also completed rotations to the Preliminary Investigations/ Geotechnical and Traffic Engineering sections. During my undergraduate career I was involved with CPP ASCE's Concrete Canoe, where I was Mix Design and Structural Analysis Captain my last two years, respectively. Now we are a consistent nationally competitive team who ranks top ten out of the nation. In high school I was active in the light construction field where I worked for ARS Construction. Later, I managed my own projects and built a clientele and created Saintly Construction.
