Part of a new org tasked with developing next-gen apps and company best practices at American Eagle Outfitters logistics company.• Built the company's React Design System in Typescript. From Figma to Storybook, consumed by other teams via our monorepo and GCP (Google Cloud) Artifact Registry, enabling internal and external teams to build quality UI twice as fast.• Established FE company roadmap, publishing best practices around authoring, testing, accessibility, performance, OpenAPI, pipelines and knowledge sharing.• Reduced build times by 80% and switched from JavaScript to TypeScript.• Managed and reviewed the work of 7 remote FE contractors. Primary FE dev responsible for establishing and scaling greenfield apps and team.• Developed and delivered client-facing applications in Svelte, React, Redux and Storybook, guiding architectural and tooling choices. From concept to ~$2M in revenue.• Deployed to AWS (Amazon web services) with Bitbucket pipelines. OpenAPI-based packages for APIs. Build with Vite, along with Jest and Cypress, for testing.• Grew the FE team from 3 to 7; interviewing, onboarding, and mentoring 2 interns. Advertising awards platform and calendar. Lead frontend developer architecting and rebuilding a large Angular app with many features and user types.• Worked closely with the CEO, gathering feature requirements, planning new work and prototyping in Framer.• Rebuilt 5 legacy apps with a large domain model into a single Angular application using highly customized Material Design elements.• Reacted to stakeholder requirements quickly and effectively, growing the company from 2 to 5 major clients.

After many fantastic years at Makemedia I wanted to see the world a bit.I packed my bike and set off across Europe. While living in Rio de Janeiro I wanted to meet and work with fellow travelers and ex-pats. "Digital Nomad" was a growing term but the community was pretty disparate so I built out a quick site with a newsletter listing meetups, conferences, work aways and retreats.Maintained listings for over 40+ events.

Sole frontend developer working on many projects in parallel.• Built CSS and HTML design systems for ASP.NET data apps.
