Co-Founder and CTO of an Australian solar / battery inverter manufacturer. Responsible for design and delivery of multiple hardware and software product lines across multiple customer channels. Implemented one of the first large-scale Virtual Power Plants aggregating thousands of consumer roof-top solar installations, dispatching energy into the wholesale market. Integral part of exec team that raised > US 23M over 5 years. Grew the technical team from 0 to > 50 FTE across hardware and software teams operating a hybrid Agile development process. Developed and patented new technology, and guided university researchers in partnership with the University of Queensland. Responsible for over-all system architecture and IoT infrastructure for > 100K devices.
