Profile bio

About Paul Lynch

I am a 40 year Sales, Marketing and Operational executive that has had a progressive and successful leadership career in both retail and telecommunications including Consumer Packaged Goods and Consumer Services. Through the valuable lessons I learned at the beginning of my career on the retail floor at Canadian Iconic retailers Eatons, Simpsons and HBC, I progressed through various store management levels and then I successfully progressed into the buying, supply chain offices and into 3rd party supplier relationships. As part of the management team at Bell ExpressVu, we grew its revenues from $170 Million to $1.6 Billion and subscriber base from 300,000 to 1,800,000 in less than 8 years.I ultimately found myself working in various positions within a not-for-profit organization that focuses on helping Canadian industry succeed through implementation of global standards. My first team at GS1 was retailer focused and then moved to a supplier focused team in early 2021. I currently lead and contribute to a team that continues to exceed expectations, and yield exemplary results.I am described by colleagues as passionate, motivational, resourceful and analytical. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for a variety of skills including: (a) ability to identify new trends and opportunities, (b) strong negotiation and communication skills, (c) being driven to achieve and succeed (d) finding operational efficiencies and (e) coaching and developing diverse teams to over perform. As a successful entrepreneur, I am looking to lead and contribute to a team that will further grow and exceed results.Specialties: Business Development Strategic PlanningMentoring/Coaching Change ManagementP&L ResponsibilityOperational Efficiency
