Provided project consultancy for the asset management Business Development Programme, designing and building a consolidated Microsoft and Qlikview platform to collate, manage and serve key account, product and fund data to the business development programme projects and systems, CRM, Client Reporting, Product, Fund, MI Reporting, Web, RFP, Social Media, fact sheet (and KIID). Retail Front End Development: Technical solutions Consultant and project governance specialist providing technical solution architecture and project governance consultancy for rollout of international money transfer solution, including integration into new build hardware strategies. Arranging and facilitating strategy meetings to establish the money transfer project roadmap and integrating within the business process workflow. Advised on project governance strategies for the card-payment and hotcard system replacement cutover. Setting up Sharepoint project structures and establishing remote access to project and support functions. I have also worked as an analyst for various retail petrol requirements, in addition to working as an analyst on the new scan as you shop retail system.

Managed the FSA approval application for the new Payment Services Regulations (PSR/PSD). Providing gap analysis on the business models and processes and advising the work required to successfully align with the FSA regulatory requirements for authorisation. This included defining a new Governance strategy to support the application. Subsequently managed the definition of an Operational Management strategy and consultant analyst on process flows for existing and target business models. Investigated and advised on regulatory implications for international passporting of money transfer services to new target markets, and project planning the international rollout of the service to Ireland, working closely with the Irish regulators.

Managed a programme of work to extend the e-commerce system by introducing new products, such as Income Protection, onto the existing extranet system used by IFAs. This was a multi-platform, multi-discipline, multi-man-year project with a budget in excess of £1.5 million. I worked closely with the business stakeholders, to ensure a predictable and quality set of deliverables, and using robust change control methods to contain scope and track change. The methods used included agile project management approach incorporated with test driven development. The programme succeeded as a result of several new project strategies I introduced that ensured an effective and workable partnership with the business teams, an approach which was adopted across the programme to erode the barriers between the customers and the delivery teams. I was responsible for managing a programme which included introducing a new protection product to the market via a swift tactical solution, assessment of a CMS to support rapid delivery of site changes for strategic partners, FSA regulatory non-disclosure & treating customers fairly, advising on strategic PMO setup and security projects for online visibility. I managed the enhancements developments team, the eCommerce platform and legacy system support teams introducing procedures and disciplines, managing strict budgetary aspects, developing a business sponsored strategy to offshore resources, and formulating a plan to facilitate outsourcing.

Responsible for managing multiple workstreams (covering Australia, Asia, and Europe/UK) delivering an on-demand Global CRM approach to Schroders’ worldwide retail and institutional distribution business teams, utilising the Salesforce.com application. Also acted as lead analyst on this project, involved in the full business analysis of requirements and establishing best approach and appropriateness of the proposed process for CRM, including a full on-site assessment of the requirements for the Sydney (Australia) office. Assessed and defined an integrated mobile solution strategy, utilising Blackberry and PDAs for delivery of CRM data. Involved in the training activity for many UK and Global staff.

I worked as a Workstream Manager (for multiple workstreams in UK, Europe, Asia and Australia), and Lead Analyst on the rollout of a new global CRM initiative, utilising the Salesforce CRM application. The new CRM strategy was incorporated into the multi-national business areas for Schroders' retail and institutional fund distribution teams.(see below for more details)

Analysis and Project Management on a project designing and implementing a GUI front end for green screen UTAS, utilising Jacada screen scraping software and browser delivery. Also performed analysis on the Sales Dealing functions to recommend a re-engineering approach for rationalising and improving end-user efficiency. Managed the analysis and testing cycle for executing the offload suite for migrating client data from UTAS to FAST.
