In college I started a company to sell raised beds (lofts) based on improvements I made on the design of existing products in the space. During the following four years of running the company I gained experience making design decisions, setting up manufacturing facilities, marketing the product, organizing a seasonal labor force of over 40 people, and dealing with customers. My formal education is in Computer Science and English. In Computer Science, my main topics of study include programming methodology, user interfaces, operating systems and machine architecture.
