Incorporating airworthiness, risk mitigation, co-ordination & planning of maintenance tasks around the flying program and operational clauses.Delegation and gainful employment of up to 60 personnel; additionally completing their authorisation competency checks, reports & monitoring training. Adaption of Senior Engineering Management & leadership responsibilities associated with aircraft management, fault diagnosis, rectification, independent inspections & functional checks in all trades, (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical & avionic). Organising the allocation of assets, planning maintenance & forecast maintenance packages.Carrying out Risk Mitigation management to authorise the implementation of a deferred fault, limitation or repair should an asset not be able to be fully fixed due to time limitations or spares. Final authorisation for flight / ground runs / partial test flights as required. Liaising with outside agencies when confronted with problematic issues that need resolving quickly.Organising & managing remote, immediate, detached maintenance teams & aircraft, at a moment's notice to any given, unknown location in the world. Ensuring the least impact is felt on any planed tasking & operating with the minimum support necessary & cost implementations.Implementing Quality Management System adhering to the ISO9001/2008 & ALARP principles. Representative Head of Engineering at key stakeholder meetings daily & briefings as Subject Matter Expert for aviation facilities when off shore. Designing, authorising & completing Expedient Repair’s around basic design concepts in the event of an emergency. Zonal surveyor, carrying periodic inspections on all areas of an aircraft, to ensure no damage or corrosion is missed. Post crash management & completing in-squadron occurrence investigations as required.Company TRiM leader, monitoring and mentoring TRiM practitioners on the Air Station. Co-ordinating training & recruitment of suitable personnel.
