Managing a large team of developers over several projects at once, alongside the continued yearly refresh of products on several platforms (Assessment / accounting software exercises) and the support of our internal helpdesk.- Continued management and development of accounting content. Instrumental in organising and developing the delivery of eLearning content, primarily in Storyline format. This covered accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACA, ACCA, ATT, and CIMA and would span around 150 pieces of content per qualification.Worked alongside graphic designer to create templates which made products efficient to build, saving time and repetitive development.Reviewed development and QA process to make product more visually and functionally consistent, as well as a reduction in the amount of errors that would be captured at alpha/beta review stage.Introduced accessibility standards to all content developed following the first project; this involved a heavy amount of testing to make complex interactions such as tables, T accounts and proformas usable for users with a range of accessibility requirements.Provided training and guidance to new members of staff.

Role was focused on supporting the instructional design and development of online content, and the management and support of the LMS. As the role grew I became responsible for the implementation and evaluation of innovative online learning solutions which incorporated multimedia and mobile technologies as part of a blended learning approach. Collaborating with multimedia developers and aiding in the production of video content for integration into eLearning content. This was in conjunction with the site administration and continued development of the Trust's online learning management system (Moodle) and the steps that could be taken to improve the customer service to over 7000 staff.The success of the online model gained popularity with a growing range of courses being developed to support a large area of training needs including pressure ulcer management, deep vein thrombosis, antimicrobial resistance & stewardship, falls prevention, safeguarding, risk management and opioid drug interactions.Working in collaboration with clinical skills and resuscitation I facilitated the introduction of blended learning in pre-course learning modules. This prepares learners with a higher threshold of knowledge prior to arriving at the session and allows the trainer to restructure their session, placing a lot more focus on assessing competency. This introduced a large number of staff with differing levels of IT competency to the use of online learning and is establishing a culture of eLearning at the trust.In 2015 the success of blended learning within clinical skills was showcased by myself and Thomas Heathcote (clinical skills educator) at the Association of Medical Education Europe (AMEE) conference in Glasgow.Additionally I produced external projects commissioned for the Royal College of Gynaecology and Obstetricians ("situational awareness in a theatre setting") and Lancashire Critical Care Network (Central Venous Catheter/Tracheostomy).

Incorporated SCORM development and support and administration of LMS, staff development and training to optimise eLearning in classrooms and IT software and hardware support to cover all aspects of eLearning. Project management streamlining mandatory training to Moodle, ePortfolios and using mobile devices in the class.After assessing the standards and requirements of eLearning at the college, I sold advantages to several areas for providing an easily accessible learning environment for students outside the classroom. This was pitched with the redesign of the staff mandatory training from a classroom setting to an online platform where staff could track their progress and fit mandatory training around their own schedule. The success of this initial course generated many requests from teachers to create interactive resources for their students.Working with subject matter experts I developed resources for Moodle and iTunesU by assessing which resources can best support the curriculum. The scope of online packages on Moodle ranged from basic multiple choice assessments to visual drag and drop to more comprehensive multimedia driven courses and assessments. Educators can then check results via Moodle for an accurate record of learner progression. Additionally I encouraged and collaborated with teachers to build interactive lessons and assessments using Nearpod and Socrative to engage learners.Provided staff training on various software packages such as Moodle and Prezi. Offering a range of sessions based on IT competency and need. Additional sessions offered covered SMART technologies and assessment apps on mobile & iPad devices in the classroom.Continued to manage the deployment and maintenance of 50+ mobile devices (iPads and Kindle Fire) for use in class and the learning centre.

Acting as the first point of contact in a busy learning centre and providing IT support for staff and learners. In addition to the management and maintenance of loanable equipment (40+ laptops, cameras, projectors) and the day-to-day maintenance of 50+ PCs.Effectively addressed staff and student queries in a quick and efficient manner, greatly improving customer service skills. My biggest achievement from this role was gaining techniques to support and be inclusive, recognising different levels of IT competency and how this should be tailored to each individual.
