My focus has always been on taking a CREATIVE and METHODICAL APPROACH to solving issues for my customers – and it differentiates my work from the best of the rest.My name is Paul McLean and I am actually a Pragmatic Application Performance Engineer but to my customers I am “The Load Tester who gets stuff done, discovers critical performance issues and communicates them in an understandable way.” I own RPM Solutions, a leader in the application load testing, performance and scalability space.► Many businesses UNDERESTIMATE the performance and scalability of their applications - often because they don’t know how user traffic affects it, particularly when it comes to the impact on production.With more than 20 years’ deep technical expertise in LOAD TESTING, I apply creative approaches to identify and eliminate defects that can lead to performance and stability issues. This approach can deliver incredible efficiency gains for an organisation – and I complete these highly complex jobs in weeks, not months.I started my career back in 1989 by focusing on control systems, software development and application performance tuning, shifting my focus to load and performance testing in the late 1990s and have been doing so ever since. ► Leveraging this rich history of creative problem solving relating to all aspects of IT PERFORMANCE, I have successfully designed and executed Load, Performance, Stress and Endurance Tests into the Banking, Insurance, Education, Transport, Logistics and Retail sectors, as well as Federal, State and Local Government, running applications built on a vast variety of different technology stacks.
