Grew the AF lessons learned program from reactive to proactive, from the unit level (tactical) to the regional (operational) and global (strategic) levels. Pushed lessons to planners before operations were started. Personally prepped & briefed annual council of 2- & 3-star generals. 100% of projected collections approved 3 years straight. Led a collection specifically for the AF Chief of Staff. Hard-hitting advice delivered quietly and on time.

Iraq depoyment. Oversaw all base operations in support of the US training mission in post-war Iraq, including security, logistics, communications, and real property. Led the Base Security Working Group. Maintained security systems to defend against frequent rocket attacks. Led regular emergency response exercises. Maintained 100% personnel accountability and security. Maintained comm systems for routine and emergency actions. Developed plans at both locations for base drawdown and turnover to the Government of Iraq. Achieved a successful drawdown on time at both locations with complete accountability and security of all personnel and equipment.

Developed the Lessons Learned program from scratch. Delivered lessons to executives (general officers), managers (officers and NCOs) and workers (Airmen), improving business units (squadrons) around the world. Documented improvements in operations, tactics, training, organization, weapons, support equipment, and more.

Advised Air Force strategic planning. Refined the strategic planning process through greater participation by key decision makers. Team member on the "aerospace integration" team, uniting the AF's air and space domains. Developed AF space policy through the multi-agency National Security Space Strategic Plan and the standup of the multi-agency National Security Space Office.
