Moriarty Foundation is an Indigenous-led organisation running weekly football (soccer) programs and on-country IndiKindi early years learning program for 2200 Indigenous young people across regional and remote locations in NSW, QLD and NT. This short-term role was to design the fundraising strategy, supervise the capital campaign consultation process, and undertaking the preliminary work to attract, cultivate and grow revenue across all donor categories.

Sabbatical to work on a home building project

Responsible for creating the fundraising, resource development and stakeholder engagement strategy across CYP schools, enterprises and businesses - Ngak Min Health, Cape York Girl Academy, Bama Services, Cape York Leadership Program and O-hubs. Reporting to the CEO / COO as a member of the Executive Leadership Alliance this role worked alongside the General Managers, School Principals and Business Leads to define, attract and develop all aspects of fundraising and development including philanthropic donations, relationships management, grants, reporting and monitoring and evaluation processes. Created the Our Sisters fundraising initiative, an innovative fundraising approach to support 220 Indigenous girls at Cape York Girl Academy, Djarragun College, Ngak Min health clinic and the Cape York leaders program. Created:- Partnership selection framework- Stewardship engagement matrix- Monitoring & Evaluation process including data collection and report writing- Donor management system - Grants calendar- Communications and Marketing planLaunched 1st: - peer-to-peer fundraising event, - EOFY campaign, Christmas campaign and IWD2021 campaigns- Board supported Fundraising and Development sub-committee- Donor engagement plans.Achieved:- Multi-year funding agreements with Westpac, Gilbert + Tobin and 2 x Private Ancillary Funds- Three years of 2 x Perpetual grants- Increased philanthropic funding 250% from $200K to $650K in 2019/2020

As Philanthropy Lead at Caritas I managed a team raising $9.7M from Major Donors, Bequests, Trusts, Foundations and Corporations.Achievements include- Achieved $9.7M revenue ($5.4M budget) in 2017/18 & $5.6M ($4.8M budget) in 2016/17 - Exceeded Major Donor budget by $1M in last 2 financial years- Lead a team of three - five- Launched a new national Gift in Wills bequests program- Stewardship major donor relationships into $1M gifts- Created a leveraged funding model resulting in $1.5M of new funding

Consultancy roles including Curious Collective to deliver 2-day experimentation and prototyping training for 6000 Commonwealth Bank employees.UNSW's Centre of Social Impact developing the project briefs for the AGSM MBA capstone subject; co-created the Design 4 Social Innovation event as part of Vivid Sydney; Mapped the business development process and evaluated the potential for an online project portal linking industry projects with post-graduate students.Sylvanvale Disability Services facilitating design thinking workshops with their senior executives.School for Social Entrepreneurs facilitated the 4-month Accelerator program in Sydney & Melbourne. Using Centre for Sustainability Leadership methodology to co-create and facilitate a future-makers program for high school students.Uniting Care NSW/ACT created a design thinking workshop using the business model canvas to realign their business to the NSW governments service model changes.
