CurrentAt Hanover, an information services firm providing knowledge support for a variety of organizations, I conduct thorough research on a wide variety of topics, typically in the area of grant-seeking and grant writing. I received three promotions in my first four years at Hanover—from Research Associate to Content Analyst, Senior Content Analyst, and (currently) Research Consultant—and am currently the highest-ranking researcher in the company's Grants practice. I have a wide variety of responsibilities, including providing consultation calls for clients, managing researchers, and creating online dashboards. At Hanover, I have:—Independently produced over 1,100 qualitative and quantitative research reports (roughly 17,000 pages in total) addressing specific client requests on a range of topics in education, health care, and market research, consistently receiving the highest possible score in client feedback surveys.—Received annual company awards (with bonuses) in 2014, 2018, and 2023 for outstanding performance as a researcher, product developer, and manager.—Provided direct research and grant-writing support for a United Way California Capital Region proposal that was funded for $1.5 million, and have served in a similar role for many other successful grant applications.—Written/produced customized weekly newsletters summarizing emerging federal and foundation grant opportunities for over 1,500 contacts.—Created training guides and templates for new researchers.—Developed high-engagement online data resources for clients (using Power BI).—Provided training sessions for co-workers in research and grant-seeking methodology.—Managed a team of junior researchers and conducted interviews for new hires.I have significant experience with Power BI, Salesforce, Constant Contact, Hubspot, NCES, IPEDS, BLS, Foundation Search, Foundation Center (Candid), Grants.gov, and the RFP/FOA process for many federal departments and agencies.
