This work was strongly tied to the European DataGrid (EDG) project, Work Package 2 (WP-2).The main theme of the work was to develop autonomous, self-triggered replication strategies that would allow hot-data to migrate to demand. As part of this work, a Grid simulator (OptorSim) was developed to test these strategies.Other activities included developing a build-on-demand system that autonomously reinstalled servers based on software and configuration held in CVS for automated testing; acting as integration coordinator between WP2 and other work packages; and various hackary needed to get Globus code to work.
