I came to Chicago in 1987 to attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2000 I started a decorative painting company which is now Minnihan Painting, a full service painting company where all our projects are treated as a work of art and we seek that level of craftsmanship in everything we do. Running a successful company supports me to continue developing my art, particularly my oils and watercolors. I care very deeply about our planet and seek to find opportunities that came somehow make our world a more sustainable planet. I love developing long lasting relationships with my clients. It gives me great pleasure to see people thrilled with their new spaces. We paint interiors, exteriors, power wash and stain porches, we handle wallcovering, we paint murals and an infinite spectrum of decorative applications including custom stencils, painted floor patterns, glazes, metallic finishes, gilding, cabinetry and more.
