Saxon Gilmore is a mid sized Tampa law firm with fourteen attorneys, specializing in commercial litigation, representation of governmental entities, and general practice including complex business transactions. We represent mid sized companies as well as some large governmental entities including the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Tampa Housing Authority. I am a Partner at the firm and head up the Entertainment Law Practice area - addressing the needs and contract negotiations for many "A" level Artists and musicians. I started this practice area at the firm and have built up variety of clients consisting of those who play or tour with Michael Jackson, Pink, Prince and some of the most recorded musicians of all time including Bernard Purdie, John JR Robinson, Peter Erskine and many others. I also represent Modern Drummer magazine. Drum Channel (owned by DW Drums) and Kickport. I am also actively involved in general litigation matters and first chair trial work on behalf of several major companies and governmental entities. I have experience in every part of the trial process, from the drafting or answering of a Complaint through discovery, deposition and trial. I head up the Firm's associate program and help to address hiring and retention of qualified candidates.

I was hired out of law school by SHB and worked in the Tort section in Kansas City, Missouri. I handled cases involving personal injury defense (product liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, FELA) and multi million dollar environmental contamination cases. I also cut my teeth as a pro bono lawyer in the juvenile justice system representing juveniles charged with various crimes. I also represented war protestors in Tampa, winning a directed verdict at the end of State's case in chief.Won the William Zimmerman Award for outstanding services to pro-bono - 2003.Sat on firm's Diversity Committee 2000-2004
