Kathmandu is a publicly listed outdoor company, specialising in quality clothing and equipment for travel and adventure, with online, retail and wholesale operations in Australia and multiple international markets.I held a variety of roles at Kathmandu, culminating in the most recent role of General Manager, Marketing & Online. Previous roles have included responsibility for Kathmandu’s International operations, Business Development and Sustainability. During my time at Kathmandu I was a member of the Executive team that developed and implemented business plans which have seen Kathmandu deliver record sales and profit.Key achievements at Kathmandu have included:- Growing Kathmandu's online business from $1m to $50m, achieving 9 consecutive years of double digit sales and profit growth, whilst having full P&L responsibility,- Leading the company's Brand identity refresh program post IPO and repositioning the Brand for international expansion,- Launching Kathmandu's inaugural Sustainability Plan and Report and developing Kathmandu's Sustainability leadership strategy, - Key contributor to the Kathmandu business turnaround from 2015.

Kmart is a general merchandise and apparel department store chain which had approximately 200 stores and annual sales of circa $4Billion.The Kmart brand went through many changes during my tenure, most notably the ownership of the parent company. Initially Kmart was owned by Coles Myer, and changed to the Coles Group when Myer was sold to private equity and finally being part of the Wesfarmers group. In the midst of these changes I developed multiple successful brand building and sales driving marketing campaigns, most notably “Kmart, where good times start”, which ran over a two and half year period significantly increasing brand empathy and advertising effectiveness.

Hong Kong

A.S. Watson was one of Asia's largest retail groups and is part of the Hutchinson group of companies. My main responsibility was to head up marketing for the PARKnSHOP brand based in Hong Kong, which had over 200 supermarkets and superstores, making it the largest retail chain in the region. During this time I helped grow the market share to 45% and launch 40 new stores.

Working in a variety of marketing roles including Marketing Manager for ASEAN and China, I became the Marketing Manager for the Schweppes brands based in Hong Kong when Schweppes was purchased by The Coca Cola Company in 1999.
