I designed and managed multiple simultaneous user research programs aimed at uncovering people's beliefs, expectations, and needs. Some projects focused on barriers, pain points, emotions, desires, and mental models; others focused on optimization of information density, contrast ratios, millimeters and error rates; I deeply enjoyed both. I also enjoy translating research findings into actionable insights and design inputs by leveraging analytical frameworks and working closely with industrial/digital designers & engineers.

PIH is a global health non-profit that operates in 13 countries around the world. At PIH, I worked with the Medical Informatics team to enhance the user experience of their custom EMR being deployed in Haiti. I conducted IRB approved user-research in Haiti that will be leveraged to enhance this system when it goes live at Mirebalais Hospital in 2013.
