With degrees in Civil and Mechanical Engineering, I have a “bigger picture with a focus on detail” approach.I enjoy sharing knowledge on a practical basis rather than lecturing and like to do so live and through online tutorials and forums. I also enjoy working with software developers to provide feedback with regards to ease-of-use and identifying software deficiencies. Working closely with universities on a part time basis to expose students to the latest technologies are quite energising.I have extensive experience in FEA using Nastran, Marc and Dytran with Patran and SimXpert and in MBD (Multi Body Dynamics) using Adams, SimXpert Motion, ATV (Adams Tracked Vehicle) and VI-Rail. Lately, MSC Apex, CivilFEM and SimCentre3D from SIEMENS have been added to my list.Other experience include basic programming (Matlab, Visual Basic, Python, Html and CSS), database and query design as well as software solution design with specialist programmers.In order to solve a broader range of problems, I also work closely with specialists in CFD, DEM, CAD, CAM, PLM, Test and Measurement and Industrial Engineers on plant design and simulation. This is important to have a broader understanding of what can be solved and who to engage with to solve it.Specialties: Aligning industry problems with engineering technology solutions and simplifying the complicated patiently.Hobbies: Design and 3D printing, photography, photo editing, vector graphics and reading constantly about new software and technology.Ultimate dream: Electricity, clean water and knowledge for everyone.
