As Director of Technical Consulting US for Eseye, I engage with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver the next generation of IoT cellular connectivity. I am involved with UICC and first to market eUICC SIM technologies plus the subscription management and Remote SIM provisioning systems that deliver industry leading capabilities to our customers. As part of this there are the cellular modules from a range of vendors such as Quectel, Sierra Wireless, uBlox and Sequans. Working with LTE-M (CatM1) and up Radio Access Technologies our customers deliver service in many markets. Whether it is power management, vending, health sciences, home security, vehicle tracking, industrial monitoring or one of the many other market verticals, I have helped engineer solutions. On the interconnect side of the business I have worked with service providers such as Verizon, Telus and other Mobile Network Operators to integrate APIs as well as connectivity services to end customers. Understanding and participating in certification services so that OEMs can have their devices be safe for network as been a key delivery. Ported and extended a RMON agent for the switch as well as all operating system changes to support the agent. Awarded a Patent related to RMON agents in a stacked switch environment. Taught classes and delivered Sales Engineering team training on Token Ring switching. Performed duties as the local (RTP) lead for the Beta test program. Participated in all phases of project and feature development. Development was all in C or i960 assembly using the Nucleus operating system from Accelerated Technologies.Patent Awarded - Remote monitoring of switch network – US 6853623Was the lead developer for the Multilink PPP feature on the C10000 Edge Services Router. Developed and tested C and TMC (Toaster Micro Controller) code on software simulators. Engineered microcode for a 16 CPU systolic array network processor. Acquired in-depth knowledge of memory referencing, scheduling, and worked with complex threading and interaction processors. RISC like instruction set with very limited instruction space and cycle budget for feature. Helped develop key portions on microcode infrastructure. Wrote specifications, developed and delivered code. Responsible for procurement, setup, and maintenance of all lab equipment for microcode development team.

Worked in the Network Hardware Division on the 8272 Token Ring LAN Switch. Responsible for developing the SNMP agent for the switch, as well as porting the Ethernet code base to Token Ring. Worked with a contracted company to develop the RMON add-on adapter. Attended IETF RMON Working Group meeting.Was given a "Distinguished Contribution Award" for development on the 8272 LAN switch project.

Entered the USN/USNR on a program to teach skills and help pay for college. Scored a 99 on the ASVAB test and picked the Fire Controlman rating.After successful completion of basic training I entered A school on an accelerated training regimen. I graduated a 9 month long A school in only 6 months with the highest ever scoring average.I continued to serve in the USNR while acquiring several service medals. I was discharged with honors in 1995 when my service term was completed.
