Job overview – all corporate finance related activities (Black Economic Empowerment transactions, capital raisings, listings, delistings, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations and restructurings). Main activities include the following:- Brainstorming and preparing presentations aimed at a variety of stakeholders for pitches and mandated engagements- Financial modeling and valuation preparation and analysis- Brainstorming and presenting ideas obtained through own research, relationships within and outside Investec- Transfer of knowledge and relationships- Mentoring of junior staff- Project execution: - interaction with: clients, attorneys, auditors, tax specialists and other experts - documentation and approval process (JSE Securities Exchange, Takeover Regulation Panel, Exchange Control Department of the South African Reserve Bank, etc)
