I am the founder and partner of a hedge fund with over 20 year track record. I have built the business and the software for a successful hedge fund with trading sizes of over $1bn. I am responsible for investment, portfolio and risk management, finance and compliance. I am actively involved in doing research into new trading models using ideas from science and engineering. I also advise other firms and startups on technology and strategy, software architecture and financial modelling. I hold a PhD in computer science and also have active research interests including AI, machine learning, data science, computer science, cryptocurrencies and Quantum Computing. I solve hard problems for businesses as a polymath with a strong mix of skills in business, strategy, finance, derivatives, hedge funds, mathematics, technology and software. I also love coding. I build large scale systems in a variety of languages including Python and Java. I've been writing software for my firm and others to solve real problems.
