Key Responsibilities• Accountable for overall repair of Svedala Mill after catastrophic failure to Gearless Mill Drive Stator (Svedala Mill accounts for 60% of Olympic Dam’s throughput)• Development, communication of and adherence to the project schedule• Development and management of QA/ QC process• Development and implementation of key initiatives to manage health and safety aspects throughout the project• Expedition of key components from OEM in Germany• Weekly progress reports for BHPB corporate.Key Achievements• Svedala Mill brought back to full operation 6 weeks ahead of schedule• Management of multi-discipline team including Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and industry experts • Engagement of key stakeholders in complex decision making including OEM, Insurer, BHPB Legal and Leadership Team• No significant injuries for duration of 5 month project and over 300 personnel.

Key Responsibilities• Accountable for departmental compliance to GLD.017• Custodian of departmental Risk Register for Processing department• Facilitation of bowtie risk assessments• Roll out and coaching to Processing Risk and Control Owners in the use of risk management tools• Advisor on all departmental material risk activities• Provide monthly risk management performance reports to senior managementKey Achievements• Drove a change in culture of Risk and Control Owners in Processing and influenced the change across site• Set the benchmark for communication of material risks across BHP Billiton by using different styles of media for risk awareness• Investigation Lead for externally reported Significant Incident.

Key Responsibilities• Management of operating and capital project budgets• Monitoring and management of daily and weekly maintenance and production performance to ensure KPI and cost targets are achieved safely• Responsible for safe execution of 8 weekly Mill pit stops and 6 monthly Dual Mill Outages• Implementing safety initiatives to improve and sustain safety performance• Coaching and development of Supervisors and teams, imbedding BHP Billiton leadership behaviours and attributes.Key Achievements• Achieving 12+ months RI free for Processing Maintenance, a previously unheard of result• Rebuilding of the Concentrator Mechanical Team to reverse high turnover and poor safety record• Successful execution of several large scale Processing and Smelter maintenance shut downs as Execution Manager.

Key Responsibilities• Promoting safe work practices and BHPB HSEC standards to tradesman and apprentices• Overseeing E/I breakdown and planned maintenance activities within the Smelter / Concentrator, working to complete the weekly maintenance plan safely and to a high standard• Scoping and planning of E/I maintenance tasks for shut downs in the Smelter / Concentrator area• Working closely and communicating with the area mechanical personnel and production personnel to solve plant problems as a team• Mentoring and coaching of tradesman and apprentices.Key Achievements• Initiation and execution of upgrade capital projects to overcome long standing environmental / safety issues
