It included unique features such as paint layers, which gave the ability to airbrush on all of the filters, and to erase mistakes simply by rubbing out with the right mouse button. The “experiment mode” allowed artists to try new effects without affecting the image, such as changing the filter already applied to the image, or adjusting a filter’s parameters and seeing the results update in real time. A version of Photogenics was included with every Amiga computer sold from 1995 onwards to showcase the platform.
