From July through October 2018, I attended a full time, full stack programming fellowship at Project Shift in Durham, NC. During this focused period of growth, I honed my skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus frameworks such as React, Redux, and Express, along with database tech like MongoDB and SQL. The twelve-week program culminated in a week-long group project and a week-long individual project. I wrote a full-stack app, Qar, that provides a used car recommendation based on a short series of questions, and presented it to the public at a demo night.
