Additionally, I employed complementary small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) analysis to differentiate between various degradation processes such as coalescence, ripening, and agglomeration.One of the main focuses of my internship was learning how to prepare and analyze SAXS data using Python and specialized software like SasView. Through the comparison of my analysis results with previously examined WAXS data, I was able to draw meaningful conclusions about the specific degradation processes taking place in a hydrogen fuel cell subjected to different accelerated stress tests (ASTs).
