I've started my career as a robotics teacher for children at the age 14 and I'm a self taught digital animator. In 2005 I have started the studio Birdo together with my fellow animator Luciana Eguti to develop character animation projects in an incipient industry in Brazil.Over the last 12 years I've worked on more than 100 projects at Birdo, changing roles from script writer to storyboard artist, designer, animator and of course, producer. Throughout this period Birdo accumulated dozens of international awards in important festivals such as Animamundi, Playgrounds and Clermont-Ferrand.In 2015, me and Luciana were speakers at Pictoplasma, world's most important conference about character culture. In this same year Birdo won the national contest for the design of the Olympic and Paralympic Mascots for Rio 2016 and was the first studio to be honored by Animamundi, South America's biggest animation festival. My first animated series as a creator, producer, director and writer, "Vinicius e Tom - Funny by Nature" was the most watched show on Cartoon Network in Brazil over 2016. I'm currently working as Executive Producer on a number of projects under development or production at Birdo (which are listed under 'experience') and teaching storyboarding at Quanta Academia de Artes, one of São Paulo's leading art schools.
