Research And Technology Specialist
CurrentI joined Croda do Brasil in 2001 as a senior research chemist. To develop products and process in chemistry area was always part of my life since I was at University. Working on development of raw materials for cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries I could find at Croda the ambient and freedom to follow my career as researcher, also giving plant support on chemical and technological issues, transference of technologies, scale up and other activities related to new and current products. More specifically, I have deep experience on synthesys area, mainly esters, amides, ethers and also oleochemical products, including oil refining process and technology. Close participartion on engeneering plant projects had special importance for successful on all steps of R&D process. In June-2006 I was promoted to Research and Development Coordinator. Responsible for the R&D projects, leading a small but committed team to achieve the objectives proposed related to new products for Croda do Brasil, from exploratory tests tol scale up. From June 2011 to now I am acting as Research and Technology Specialist , focusing on development of medium and long term projects, according market needs and tendencies, creating innovative products and applying new technologies, It’s a challenging work where I can use the experience from several years, creativity and knowledge to bring succesfull new products to the company.
